No, I do not hate school. In fact I think I'm becoming a geek. I'm enjoying studying, I realized that a year ago. Haha! I now love being challenged and learning new stuff. But you know, you simply can't push yourself too hard. Well, I do not want to.
And so I imagine...(because it is the only thing I can avail of) If I can't literally go back to Boracay now, it can always go back to me right? It can because I showed that island what it's worth is, I appreciated it. Blah blah.
The last time I was in Boracay was back in 1994. I barely remember it. It was only last April where I had the chance to go back again. It wasn't even planned! Here's how it went:
Mister Sisterrr (MS): Momma, I wanna go to Boracay!
Momma: Go ahead!
MS: You sure momma?
Momma: Yes!
MS: You'd pay for my trip, momma?
Momma: Yes!
MS: Oh momma!
How easy was that huh? If I had known I'd be given money then I should've done that every year! My momma's so cool! So there I went with friends who went their annually. It's kind of awkward, I felt like I was re-virginized.
Boracay has changed so much. Tons of establishments, restaurants, resorts, and of course a whole lotta people! (There were too many Koreans! This is really an invasion! Haha!) People came in all shapes and sizes, their were friends, families, couples, and strangers who just met their...talk about summer fling. I saw a lot of people I knew, there were also people who didn't even said hello to me back in the city yet suddenly they considered me a "friend" there. I hated that. I'd rather remain we didn't talk to each other.
I think I would've appreciated the Boracay before (I wish I remembered) but although a lot has changed, I think the view of the island remained just exactly as it is. The water...the trees...the wind...the smell...the sand...aaahhh!!! I just miss it! I wanted so much to see the sun set there yet the whole time we stayed there it didn't show up. Nevertheless, there were still many reasons to be happy and appreciative of about the island. If you love swimming, duh there's the beach.
If you love looking at hot bodies, you might need to get youself that mask thing that horses wear.
If you love food, you have a wide selection.
If you love making out, well there are the resorts and hotels.
If you love sports, there are water sports. I don't love it. The Flyfish threw me off! Hahaha!
If you love to just hang out, you have the whole beach to yourself.
If you love to party, oh yes! I love to party! Hahaha! You can party like you've never partied before! You can be as drunk as you want, dance with people you want, laugh your heart out till it drowns with the waves! Oh did I say if you love to party?
But you know, the best thing I have experienced about Boracay are my encounters with the locals...especially when I'm already drunk because that's when I had the courage to come up and talk to them. They're the nicest people on earth! Way way different from the people in the city...The locals had so much stories to tell and you won't get tired of listening to it. Even if you don't understand it. Hahaha!
I love them so much I promised I'd go back and buy a tricycle! Wahahaha!
Ciao!
