When you have nothing to do during the summer, chances are you'll end up in your kitchen, eating. Or maybe you'll end up watching TV...and eating. I'm sure you also stay up late compared to when you had classes. During these times, you go out with your friends or talk to them over the phone or through instant messaging and there's food. No wonder when you see each other again you will be told that you gained weight and looked heavier. What a bummer.
I never had that problem though. I got my genes from my father's side. Their genes are cool. They do not get fat no matter how much they take in. They just grow taller. Isn't that every woman's dream? Isn't that a model syndrome? Could this be my calling? Haha! NOT. I actually grew tired of looking like a skeleton last year. My body didn't look healthy even if I ate healthy food. So I decided, I would get rid of my "99 (lbs.) for 2009" New Year's resolution! Kidding. Who would want to look like that?
It was like I went for a shopping with all the money I can ever have during the summer. I splurged on any food that I wanted. It was heaven!!! I lived by not depriving myself to eat anything I want no matter how much it was. Sure it left my wallet empty but you could never top anything to food. It's what keeps us going. It's unavoidable and irresistible! LOL. I thought to myself though that gaining weight was pretty much a long shot since I always stayed in the same number but to my surprise I did gain weight and everyone noticed it. At first I kind of felt offended and shockedbeing said that I looked fatter because I was never used to that but then I thought this is what I wanted so I'm just gonna have to acknowledge it and say thanks to those who notice because it affirms that everything has paid off.
What's weird though is that the food I ate were not really the ones I'd consider healthy, but they helped me gain more. Haha! You might wanna try them...Shall I call this the fattening diet?
