The Wishlist: Nokia E71

I know I said that I'll try to put the most practical and affordable things...But what the heck?! This post goes out to my mother dearest or to my richest and most generous friends.

DISCLAIMER: I never asked anything from my parents because as you know, I was never spoiled. I buy all my things...clothes, shoes, accessories, and that includes gadgets as well. I grew up knowing how to save the money I get from my allowance. Usually, when I get my weekly allowance, I divide into two and I only use half of it in school then the rest goes to my piggy bank.

So let me go back to gadgets, I remember having my first cellphone back when I was in grade five? It was a Bosch phone, a hand-me-down from my sister. (More of a second hand I should say because it wasn't handed, it was bought...using my money, yes.) Then, one phone led to another yet whenever I had a new one, I always say "This is going to be the last phone that I'll buy" but obviously I haven't kept my word for that. Now I'm with my N70, and I love it! I think it's the best phone I ever had! It's packed with all the features I needed and it's very easy to use, sexy also, I must say. But then I saw this Nokia phone last year in a magazine and it caught my attention just like what N70 did...

I know it's just me but when I saw this, it reminded me of my Nokia N70...only sleeker. I like how it looks, most especially the red/silver version of it since my favorite color is red. I find the E71 so elegant and classic but still it could come off as something modern, very current. I also love its image of being something professional, but that something is "young". Young professional. It's like this phone has a character of its own! (My character perhaps? Haha!) So upon seeing this I did my little research and found some interesting features that go with it...

Now although that was a very long list, it doesn't actually end there. There's more to this phone and you can see everything on their site. I remember telling my friend I want this phone but she told me why would I want something with features that my existing phone already has and she also asked why choose a "business" phone. I really don't see the need to be a businessman or an employee to use E71 because it still caters to everyone. Even us, who are in college (and would yes, eventually be working) I think this phone suits me well because you know how I love being so organized. I love managing my time and schedule. And I think, this is just the phone that will help me. Haha!

It just occurred to me, maybe the Nokia N70 was the last phone that I'm ever going to buy because someone would give this to me? LOL.
